New Chrome v37 Issue with Touch stopped Responding on Surface Pro 3

Note to self and others: I updated Chrome to version 37 (Help -> About in Chrome to check) and interacting with Chrome through touching the screen stopped working.  I was able to fix the issue by going to chrome://flags in the address bar of chrome and changing the "Enable touch events" from Automatic to Enabled.

Maybe this has something to do Chrome 37 support for DirectWrite and high dpi monitors.
