Microsoft Office 2010 Starter - A Great Deal

Microsoft has introduced a totally free option for using their Microsoft Office products. It's called Microsoft Office 2010 Starter edition. It only includes Excel and Word, and doesn't have all the bells and whistles that power users would need, but it's a money efficient option for users that occasionally use Excel and Word and don't mind the advertisements.

I've seen the advertising when using this product and I would say that it is not annoying like you think of some online advertising. It doesn't have any pop-out, flashiness that would get in the way of getting work done. It's just a small spot in the lower right hand corner, and from the little time I used it, looked mostly like Microsoft related ads.

Unfortunately, you can't download the software. You can ONLY get it on a new PC that comes with it.
